So before our pain get holds of us let’s beat it and be healthy as long as we live, even when we are old we can continue work.
This is specially for people who sit at the computer whole day.
1.Keep the distance of the monitor from your eyes between 40 and 76 cm (16 to 30 inches). Most people find a distance of 50 to 65 cm (20 to 26 inches) comfortable. Make sure that top of the monitor is at or slightly below your eye level.
2. Push your hips as far back as they can go in the chair.
3. Adjust the seat height so your feet are flat on the floor and your knees equal to, or slightly lower than, your hips.
3. Adjust the back of the chair to a 100°-110° reclined angle.
4. It’s good to have a chair with arm set as your arm can rest. Your shoulders also will be relaxed. The typist chair is not a good option when you work on the computer
Exercise your eyes. Another cause of computer eye strain is focusing at the screen for too long. To reduce your risk of tiring your eyes, look away from your computer at least every 20 minutes and gaze at a distant object (at least 20 feet away) for at least 20 seconds.
You can set an alarm in your computer to remind yourself when to get up, because we forget all these when we are solving a problem.
Also try to get up as much as possible and walk in office, it’s your life after all, it does not matter what people in the office think.
Stretching is important and easy and can help avoid back pain. Try the neck stretches. Touch your shoulder with your ear and hold it there, do vice versa. For a chest opener, stretch your arms towards back as if you were trying to grab a pencil between your shoulder blades. Stand in a doorway. Hold your hips and gently extend your back by bending backward.”
You can at least try one of the above in office.
Try your best to enjoy outdoor life, stay away from computer during weekends, spend time with your family and friends, when you are leaving office say bye to computer, enjoy your life with outdoor activity, go for a walks, play badminton, do something with your hands, move fingers, whole days you had been holding the mouse, finger exercise is really good.
